Hörmann enjoyed another highly successful year at the National Homebuilding and Renovating Show at Birmingham’s NEC earlier this month.
Over 35,000 homeowners and self-builders visited the leading garage and entrance door manufacturer’s stand during the four-day event. Following on from a record-breaking year, Hörmann enjoyed its most successful show to date, generating over 600 sales leads.
David O’Mara, marketing manager at Hörmann, commented:
“It was great to see such a strong interest in our range of doors and operating systems, and also offer our advice for a wide array of self-build and renovation projects. Exhibitions and shows like this are really important to us and we’re already receiving positive feedback and orders from our dealer network.”Hörmann’s stand at this year’s show was particularly exciting with a number of new products on display for the first time. The striking fully-glazed ALR Vitraplan made its debut appearance at a UK exhibition, offering an eye-catching, ultra contemporary alternative to the traditional garage door. Hörmann’s impressive HST side-sliding sectional garage door was another inspiring addition to the stand, alongside a number of highly insulated and secure entrance doors.
This year the show also coincided with an exclusive dealer event to reveal the new RollMatic TDL before its official launch in July. Managing director of Hörmann, David Newcombe, gave a presentation to delegates about the company’s latest news, investment plans and product developments before a live installation demonstration was given.
Hörmann’s RollMatic range is one of the most popular available. The recently updated RollMatic 2 was well received by visitors at the show, following a number of design changes to improve its functionality and efficiency. Benefitting from the latest technology, the RollMatic remains a safe, reliable and space-saving option for homeowners.
The 2016 Homebuilding and Renovating Show was the ninth time Hörmann had exhibited at the event.
